A plan has been submitted to convert part of a farm in Maidenhead into a new equestrian training facility.
Developers want to convert Lane End Farm in Maidenhead, which extends to 7.35 acres of permanent pasture land used for the keeping of free-range poultry for eggs operating from two agricultural buildings each with associated ranges, into the new facility.
The proposed change of use is intended to be a diversification to support the ongoing agricultural business.

The application states that the new building would be used for commercial equestrian stabling run on a full-time livery basis
The site would comprise of ten looseboxes with associated facilities including tack rooms, feed stores, solarium and wash down areas.

These will either be associated with polo or for riding out in the locality.
Describing the footfall at the new facility, developers said: "Livery Clients owning an average of 2.5 horses each visiting to ride out once during the week, once on a Saturday and once on a Sunday thereby totalling three movements in and three ovements out per livery client per week.
"This equates to an averaged out total of 1.7 movements in and 1.7 movements out per day."
