A GROUP of four have been fined more than £7,000 in total for an inside gathering during the pandemic.
The foursome, from Slough, were brought before the courts this month for the meet up on December 5.

They were found to have travelled more than 50 miles to a house in Petersfield despite inside gatherings being banned.
It came at time when the Petersfield area was in Tier 2 of coronavirus restrictions and Slough was in Tier 4 - banning travel and inside mixing between households.
As a result, Michael Christian, 25, of Coniston Crescent, Aiden Wall, 33, of Dove House Crescent, Ashur Brookes, 24, of Wavell Gardens, and Rhys Meyers, 27, of Cheviot Road, were all convicted of being at a gathering of two or more persons in a Tier 2 area.
The foursome were each fined £1,760 - totalling £7,040.

They were each also ordered to pay £176 victim surcharge, plus three of the group ordered to pay £110 court costs and Aiden Wall ordered to pay £85 court costs.
