Emergency services were called to the M4 on Wednesday afternoon after a horse jumped over a barrier in its horsebox.
The vehicle was being driven between junction 4B (M25 interchange) and junction 5 (Langley).

The horse jumped over the internal partition, leading to fears that it could distract the driver and other drivers close to the vehicle.

Emergency crews and a vet were called to the scene.
The animal was sedated to calm it down and allow the driver to safely continue its journey.
