Labrador Lola missing from Taplow after eight months

Lola the black Labrador from Taplow, went missing at around 7am on October 7, 2020 on the River Road. 

Owners Jacquie and Nick took Lola on her usual early morning walk letting her off the lead at the fields behind where they live.

She was wearing a muzzle to prevent her from chasing rabbits but is 'far from dangerous' to people.

When they return home after their walks, Lola would usually appear at the door by herself but she never came back.

Jacquie's sister Carole said: "After a very short time my Sister said “ is Lola back?” as she has always done for years.  That was it.  Everyone was straight out to search."

A community Facebook page has been set up to help find Lola, with an army of almost 2,000 people across the UK joining in the search.

Police forces up and down the country have raided farms with stolen dogs to try and find the lovable Labrador but to no avail.

Carole added: "We gave her details to every Police authority who have carried out raids finding many dogs. 

"There have been sightings of black labs around the country but not one positive sighting.  If our worst nightmare has happened we have been told we would have found a body so, we can only think that’s someone has her.

"We spend hours every day, trying to follow up any possible lead, no matter how unlikely something seems.  The house is not the same, life isn’t the same without Lola, we are so worried for her but we have to stay positive. She is an innocent, beautiful dog and we are so worried for her." 

The family believe she could have been 'abducted' and will never 'give up' trying to find her.
