Thieves have been targetting people in Slough by using distraction techniques.
Thames Valley Police has had multiple reports of thieves going up to people using a cash point and telling them the ATM machine doesn't work.
Whilst they do this, another thief grabs their bank or cash or watches them enter their PIN number.

Police said they have received a number of reports of these ATM distraction thefts.
As a result, police have been carrying out more patrols around Slough following recent incidents involving ATM distraction thefts.

They said: "Please be vigilant whilst using the ATM’S and only use if you are by yourself or with someone you know.
"Call for help if approached by someone you don’t know whilst using an ATM and call 999."
