RECORDED coronavirus cases have remained the same – and even gone up – in some Slough wards, according to the latest Berkshire Public Health (BPH) figures.

BPH publishes a weekly Covid-19 briefing and breaks down the data by electoral ward.

The data was published on February 24 and shows the number of reported cases and their infection rate between February 13 and 19.

BPH has rounded the data for each ward to the nearest five in order to protect the identity of individuals.

Last week, the Observer reported all wards saw a drop in their cases and weekly rate.

That decline seems to have stalled as most areas recorded no change in their figures – while some have reported their cases have increased since the previous week.

The biggest jump was Farnham, which saw 20 more cases this week, followed by Elliman and Cippenham Green.

Elliman overtakes Britwell and Northborough in having the highest infection rate in Slough as Britwell’s cases continue to drop.

However, some wards did record cases falling their respective areas, including Upton, Langley St Mary’s, Haymill and Lynch Hill, and Foxborough.

The remaining areas saw no change in their recorded figures.
