"We rarely eat out and when we fancy fish and chips, we just want something that will hit the spot.
"This is the best fish and chips we've had BY FAR.
"We got haddock. Beautifully fried, lovely crisp batter. Chips were delicious. Absolutely gigantic portions. Tartar sauce was yummy also.
"Customer service was super warm and friendly. The shop is nice and bright and very clean."

One Trip Advisor review from January 2021 said: "Just had fish and chips and wrap and chips delivered.
"Best yet. Fish big and tasty and wrap very tasty.
"Chips - all four of us agreed best yet."
3. TJs OH MY COD, George Green

Again, TJ's Oh My Cod is rated 4.5 stars on Trip Advisor.
Although there are currently mixed reviews on the site, a recent positive one says: "We recently had a meal plan of two fish, one large chips, two sausages & curry sauce delivered.
"It was delicious and very good value for money. Thank you and we will be using you again very soon."
4. Nick's Fish & Chips, Harrow Market

Described on its site as serving "mouthwatering fish & chips, cod and haddock", Nick's Fish & Chips is rated four stars on Trip Advisor.
A recent review says: "I drive from Richings Park to get my fish and chips from here.
"Chips excellent. Cod, lovely and flaky and seasoned with the right amount of salt and vinegar.
"Keep up the good work, guys. You slipped earlier but back to your best now."
5. Ocean Blue Fish and Chips, Horton Road

One review reads: "I tried this place out for the first time after my parents had told me about them and I’m glad they did!
"Best fish and chips I’ve had during lockdown, fish was made fresh and not too oily.

Another popular choice, King Neptune Fush Bar is rated 4.5 stars on Trip Advisor.
One review, named "Best service in Windsor", said: "The team at King Neptune are so warm and welcoming!
"I didn’t go in often but when I entered I was always greeted by name with a big smile.
"They take a lot of pride making sure they’re offering you the best fish and chips possible - I’ve seen them remake someone’s order free of charge because the individual had left the shop for so long their order was no longer up to snuff. Amazing place!"
