Slough's Palistani Welfare Association in Slough is asking people to get in touch of they know of families or individuals going hungry in the current pandemic.

The association president Muhammed Shabbir has made the appeal as he launches a new community food project with support from the Slough Council for Voluntary Service.

The PWA aims to provide food parcels containing essential everyday items to vulnerable and needy members of the community.

All details given will remain confidential and names of recipients will remain anonymous. Let's get together and support our local community."
