Mercedes blaze put out by firefighters using four breathing apparatus
Firefighters from Maidenhead used four breathing apparatus and two hosereels to put out a fire in a Mercedes car in Cookham Road this afternoon.
They were called at 2.30pm and spent over an hour and a half on the scene.
The fire is believed to have been caused by a mechanical fault.
Traffic was disrupted but no-one was injured.
