Much needed winter clothing and essentials has been delivered to Slough's homeless - thanks to the charity Al Miftah.
Al Miftah is based in the town and members got together packs containing seven vital items for homeless people - a rucksack, tent, sleeping bag, hat, gloves, socks and jumpers.
In addition a supporter helped by making up hygiene packs which included soap, wipes, toothbrushes and face masks.

The packs were delivered to the Ragstone Road headquarters of the charity SHOC (Slough Homeless Our Concern) for distribution to the people it supports.
Shabnam Baig from Al Miftah said: "Regardless of the situation, we are in, we believe it’s of the utmost importance that the community comes together to help each other and support anyone that needs it. Looking after our neighbours and providing assistance to those in need is an essential part of our duties as Muslims and one of the core foundations of our faith."
