Children in the reception class at Montem Academy in Slough have been sent home this week - after staff members tested positive for Covid-19.
None of the pupils at the school in Chalvey Grove have been reported as testing positive.
A statement issued on behalf of headteacher Ann Probert said: "The school has informed the Department for Education helpline and is waiting to be contacted by Public Health England.

"I can confirm our infection control measures are strong and there is no evidence of cross contamination between year group bubbles.
"The school has provided all reception pupils with home learning packs and online teaching sessions which pupils can access during this mandatory period of isolation.
"We are currently anticipating reopening school to the year group on November 23.

"Although it saddens me to have to close a year group bubble, we have a duty to mitigate any known risk however low to children and staff."
Montem Academy takes children from three to 11. Only reception class pupils aged up to five are affected by the current situation.
