Chaos hit the centre of Slough when an unmarked police vehicle and a Mercedes car collided outside the Curve Library on William Street in Slough at about 4.30pm Saturday afternoon.
The police car ended up on its roof and passers-by stopped to help the shaken officers out.
Road closures were in place for two hours as firefighters from Slough and Langley helped clear up.
Two police officers and a member of the public sustained minor injuries.
