OVER 1,400 Slough businesses will be spot checked to see they are Covid-19 secure.
In a joint effort between Slough Borough Council and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), officers from HSE will be contacting local businesses to check they are complying with the latest guidance.
Any organisations found not following Covid-19 regulations will be referred to the council’s food and safety team to investigate.

“By teaming up with HSE, we can cover all our businesses quickly and thoroughly; following up with those who are accidently or deliberately not taking the action they need to.
“We want to help our businesses become Covid-19 compliant – for the sake of their businesses and the community as a whole – and we are very happy to explain, what are quite complicated regulations, to business owners.”
Any business looking for advice can contact the food and safety team on foodandsafety@slough.gov.uk.
