The Café Rouge in Windsor is open again - under the ownership of new company The Big Table.
Big Table also acquired the Bella Italia and Las Iguanas brands.
Jacqueline Fletcher, Head of Marketing at Café Rouge said: “For over 30 years, Café Rouge has been an iconic part of the British high street and a much-loved restaurant by all.
"Although recent months have been the toughest our industry has ever faced, we’re delighted to be reopening our doors in Windsor and very much look forward to welcoming back our customers, whether dining in or popping by for a cocktail or two.
“Whilst we promise the restaurant will be that which our customers know and love, we are taking extensive precautions and have introduced new procedures in line with government guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable Rouge experience for everyone.”
Cafe Rouge's closure in the Royal Station Parade at Windsor left a depressing gap in the heart of the town and its reopening has been welcomed by surrounding businesses and residents.
