Chilled and frozen food will be available for the first time from Slough's Poundland in Farnham Road, starting next Monday.
The company has resumed Project Ice - which kicked off in March, aiming to bring frozen food to 60 of its stores after successful trials at a selected few.
The new ranges were introduced at 12 stores before being halted by lockdown.
Now five new stores a week will be getting chiller cabinets and freezers, bringing 400 everyday items from frozen fish to yoghurts. Slough will be ready on July 6.
All work is being carried out in line with official guidance on safe working.
At stores that have already been converted, hot sellers have included top chilled food brands such as Ginsters, Cathedral City, Lurpak, Sutherland deep fill sandwiches and Rustlers cheeseburgers.
Customers have also been snapping up frozen products including Bernard Matthews chicken breast and Birds Eye cod fillets, plus brands such as Aunt Bessie’s, McCain and Young’s.
The ranges have been developed in partnership with Fultons Foods, a leading regional frozen food specialist with 90 stores across the North of England.
Mat Ankers, Poundland transformation director, said: “For obvious reasons, Project Ice was on ice during lockdown, but we’re now delighted to be taking the programme out of its temporary freeze and stepping it up over the summer."
