Slough Town Ladies have worked to raise an incredible £2,660 for NHS Charities.
The initial target was for the team to collectively walk and run 812 miles in May, which is the distance between NHS hospitals in Falmouth and Wick.
However, this was smashed early on, with the ladies adopting a new 1.083 mile route to increase the challenge.
The team then decided to add the distance back to Arbour Park to their challenge, giving a huge total of 1,751 miles.
The ladies completed their sponsored running and walking challenge last Thursday, ahead of schedule.
All exercise was completed individually, and not as a team, due to social distancing regulations. n
A club statement said on the official website: "We would like to congratulate the Ladies team for completing the challenge and for raising such a fantastic sum, and also thank everyone who sponsored them or followed their progress on social media.
"Donations can still be made via this JustGiving page: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/slough-town-ladies-fc."
