Frontline staff at Slough's Upton Hospital welcomed volunteers from the Masjid Al Jannah - led by their driving force Imam Osman Ansary on Friday.
The team from the Stoke Road mosque came laden with rice, tinned food, cooking oil and such useful items as washing liquid and toilet rolls.
The Chief Iman was accompanied by the president of Masjid Al Jannah Hamjath Aneef among other leaders, plus an enthusiastic team of volunteers.
They were welcomed by doctors doctors Jay Bandula and Sana Javeria (NHS Staff) - while Fahima Awuf was happy to be there both as an NHS staff member and a coordinator from Masjid Al Jannah.
The Masjid Al Jannah has not allowed being closed to public worship because of COVID-19 to dampen its members' determination to play a vital role in Slough society.
Spokesman Faleel Marikkar said: "Iman Osman Ansary has played a pivotal role in the success of Masjid Al- Jannah, as he directs his troops working tirelessly to support frontline staff at all hospitals in Slough while supporting their immediate families.
"Frontline staff are working 24/7 without a break so just don't have time for personal shopping."
