A man has been charged after sending threatening messages to MPs.
Wajid Shah, 26, of Connaught Road, Slough, was charged last Wednesday with five counts of sending a letter/communication or article conveying a threatening message after being arrested on three separate dates in March 30, April 15 and April 20.
The charges are in connection with a series of malicious communications of a threatening and abusive nature sent to current or previous members of parliament.
He has been bailed to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, October 9.
The alleged victims are not being identified by police.
