THE LATEST food hygiene ratings for the area have been released.
The Food Standards Agency regularly inspects food outlets, rating them on a scale ranging from five stars (indicating standards are very good) to zero stars (urgent improvement necessary). The inspections scrutinise how food is handled, stored, and prepared, as well as examining the cleanliness of the facility and how food safety is managed. The results for Slough food outlets inspected in July have recently been released.
The very best outlets, which were awarded five stars, include the Cake Shop, High Street, the Mad Burger, Granville Avenue, Accent Catering at the Langley Academy, Nick’s Fish and Chips, Harrow Market, and Panda Rolls, Cannon Gate.
Food outlets that are currently rated at zero stars include Fairprice Food and Wine, High Street, Cippenham Lane Fish and Chips, Cippenham Lane, HFC and Fastfood, Chalvey Road West, Haseeb Halal Meat, Baylis Parade, Kenya Halal Butchers, Herschel Street, and Rashko Juice Bar, Park Street.
