AN ELDERLY woman died in a road collision on Wednesday afternoon, police have confirmed.
Thames Valley Police has now confirmed the woman was in her eighties.
Officers were called to the A4 London Road in Langley at around 3.45pm.
A Ford Galaxy had been in collision with a Kia Venga. The passenger in the Kia, the elderly woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The scene and surrounding road was closed in both directions for a period of time at the B470 High Street and Ditton Road, it is understood.
Whether there was anyone else in the vehicle has not been disclosed.
If anyone has any information about the collision they are urged to call police on 101 and quote reference number 841 (2/5).
