AN UNPROVOKED attack left a man in hospital at the weekend in Slough.
A 21-year-old man was repeatedly punched, causing him to fall to the ground in Goodman Park on Saturday at around 1am.
He had been leaving a shop on the corner of the road, with two friends when he was attacked. When the victim fell to the ground he hit his head.
He was treated for bruising to the head at Wexham Park Hospital and was kept in for observation. He has since been discharged.
Investigating officer, Det Sgt Pauline Cameron based at Maidenhead police station, said: “This was an entirely unprovoked attack and it is lucky that the victim did not suffer more severe injuries.
“We want anyone who might have seen this assault to come forward and call 101.”
The attacker is described as a mixed race man, aged at around 20-years-old, 6ft tall, with an afro style haircut.
If you have any information about the incident call the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101 or you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
