SLOUGH and South Bucks have voted to leave the EU.
Voters in the two areas cast their vote yesterday and the results have been announced.
Lea Trainer, chairman of the Slough Leave campaign was thrilled with the result.
He said: "I am ecstatic, I am overwhelmed.
"There was a big cheer from us when the result was announced and we were overjoyed.
"I am going to be absolutely over the moon if the overall result is leave. I see this as years of campaigning for me."
In Slough, a total of 29,631 people voted to leave and 24,911 votes were cast for remain. In South Bucks, 20,077 voters selected remain on their ballot papers and 20,647 opted for leave, equating to a 50.7 per cent vote for leave.
Slough recorded a turnout of 62.1 per cent and in South Bucks there was a turnout of 78.4 per cent.
