HAYWARD Sheila Ann Passed away peacefully at the age of 92 years on 22nd October at The Windsor Care Centre, Slough. Sheila was a much loved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend to so may and will be greatly missed. Sheila was born, raised, schooled, worked, married, had 3 children, 2 grandchildren, flourished and died all within a 5 mile radius of Slough Crematorium where her funeral will take place at 3pm on 6th November 2023. Sheila grew up on the Stoke Place Estate and her home was The Cottages opposite the Crematorium. As a girl she played in the Orchard that became the Orchard School and in the fields where Wexham Park Hospital now stands. Sheila went to work at The Post Office, Slough. It was here she met her future husband Cliff Hayward. They were married at St Pauls Church, Stoke Road in 1956. In 1962 they moved into their new home 92 Hazell Way, Stoke Poges. Here they raised 3 children and went onto having 61 years of happily married life. Sheila's funeral and celebration of her life will be held at Slough Chapel, Slough Crematorium, 6th November at 3pm.
