WYNDHAM DOUGLAS HERBERT Passed away peacefully aged 98 on 26th February 2012 Born in Vancouver Island Canada, served in the Royal artillery throughout world war II. Settled in Tilehurst in 1966. After retiring from the ministry of agriculture he was an active member of the parish council and school governor of Birch Copse well into his 90's! Thank you to all the staff at Glebelands Care Home where he spent his final days, you are all amazing! Husband, Dad, Grandpa, friend and comrade, he will be greatly missed Funeral at Hinton Park Woodland burial ground, Dorset on Wednesday 14th March 2012 at 12.30pm Donations please for Glebelands Care Home made payable to: C.T.B.F may be sent to Hinton Park Woodland burial ground, Wyndham Road, Walkford, Dorset BH23 7EJ
