Bob Wheeler 13.5.1921-18.4.2014 Bob Wheeler of Doddsfield Road, Britwell, passed away on Good Friday, surrounded by all his family. Bob started his career as a Taylor in London where he meet the love of his life Heidi (1920-1979). They were parted by the war for a short time as Bob was stationed in Egypt with the RAF. But on his return they married and settled into the New Estate, Britwell. Bob took a new position as store/floor manager for Cooper in the trading estate, where he enjoyed many years until his retirement. Bob and Heidi had 6 children, 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren who all loved him very much and will miss him greatly. He was a kind, jolly, considerate man, who was devoted to his family and always looked forward to a good party. The funeral will take place at St.Georges Church, Britwell, on 8th May at 1pm. Open for all to attend to celebrate his life. Donations will be collected for the RAF Benevolent Fund, contact Sergeants, Slough for details.
