JIM DAY (Ronald James Day DFC,DL,B.Sc (Econ)) Passed away peacefully on Friday 14th September 2012, aged 91 years. Devoted husband of Paddy and loving father of Jan and Jill. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Jim was a former Mayor of Reading, Chairman of Berkshire County Council, Freeman of the Borough of Reading and a Deputy Lieutenant. Jim has left his body to medical science: a memorial will be held at a later date. If wished, donations may be made to Parkinson's UK c/o G. Kindynis, 57 Reddown Road, Coulsdon, Surrey CR5 1AP
