Wendy started her career as a dancer in Vaudeville where she met and married the love of her life Phil (1905-1991). They went on to perform a variety act until Wendy was 50, when they started a business together, which their son Peter and daughter-in-law Maggie still run today. Wendy was a regular volunteer at The Bridge tea shop in Datchet for nearly 20 years, until she became unwell last year. As well as being the most wonderful grandmother to Emma, Lisa & Jason, Wendy loved to spend much of her time gardening at home and at her son’s home. She was completely devoted to her family who are devastated by her passing. The funeral has taken place.
