Wing Commander Francis Gordon(Gus) Buckle, RAF (Rtd) Peacefully on 8th March at The Royal Berkshire Hospital. A dear husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Funeral service at Reading Crematorium-South Chapel on Monday 19th March at 1.00pm. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to 'Cancer Research UK' may be sent c/o A.B.Walker & Son Ltd, 36 Eldon Road, Reading RG1 4DL.

Belated condolences from David Samuel Graham and family. I remember Gordon and his family visiting my family when I was growing up in Hartlepool. Wonderful man, he was an idol for me to aspire too! Always took an interest in me, and my education. I last saw him and his wife at my Fathers funeral in 1988. Gordon! You were a true gentleman and scholar, R.I.P xx
