A rapist, a heroin dealer and a man who will never leave prison are among those jailed in Berkshire in October.
Here are all the criminals locked up in the county last month.
Hakeem Kigundu
An arsonist who murdered two people by setting fire to a block of flats in Reading was jailed for life without a minimum term at Reading Crown Court today (October 7).
Hakeem Kigundu, 32, formerly of Rowe Court, is one of just 60 people in the UK handed this rare whole-life order, Justice Holgate said, meaning he will never leave prison.

Luke Cole
A thug was jailed for a 'brutal and savage' attack that left a man with a broken jaw, slashed chin, and broken teeth.
Luke Cole, of The Green, in Burnham, admitted leaving his unconscious victim, aged in his twenties, in the road on February 22, 2020.

Timothy King
A man who raped a teenage girl in London and a woman in Slough was jailed for 21 years with a seven year extended license.
Timothy King, 37, formally of Kilburn, London, led a 16-year-old girl away from her friends in Westminster and raped her in a secluded alleyway on September 27, 2021.

Amar Mahmood
A 20-year-old Slough man was jailed for two years and eight months after police found £9,000-worth of heroin and crack in his home.
Amar Mahmood, of Mildenhall Road, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A, namely crack cocaine and heroin, and one count each of possession of a controlled drug of class B, namely cannabis, and possession of criminal property.

Christopher Smith
A man was jailed after he stole a rucksack containing cash, bankcards, and a laptop.
Christopher Smith, 32, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to the burglary and fraud after he stole the belongings from a property in Petersfield Avenue, Slough.

Tarek Baka
A man who took a knife from a butchers shop and stabbed a 23-year-old during an argument in Slough High Street was jailed for five years.
Families with children watched in horror as Tarek Baka, aged 26, of Cleveland Park, Staines-upon-Thames, used the blade to slash the man's arm outside Marwa Superstore on June 22.
