SLOUGH Wrestling Club have returned from the Aspall Wrestling Tournament in Wigan with a number of medals.
Over 200 wrestlers attended from the very young to senior age groups. There were local wrestlers and teams from Holland, Ireland and Scotland in a fantastic day for all.
The Slough team, most who have been wrestling for under a year, brought back a tally of medals.
Sarup Singh won a gold medal, while Rishi Judge, Gavinda Singh and Gurj Singh all took home silver medals.
Daleep Singh, Nihaal Singh, Diyaal Singh and Baaj Singh were all also worthy recipients of awards for their excellent performances.
The team were overseen by resident coaches Ranjit Singh and Inde Cheema, a seven times British champion.
The club trains on a Tuesday (6-8pm) and a Saturday (4-6pm) at Singh Sabha Sports Centre on Stoke Poges Lane in Slough.
