A CAUSE of a fire which destroyed a car in Slough last night is being investigated.
The blaze began in Ronaldsay Spur at around midnight with one pump from the Slough station rushing to the scene to extinguish the fire, but could not prevent the car being completely destroyed.
Watch manager Jason Wilson from the Slough fire station said: "The fuel tank busted so it was leaking fuel everywhere so it took a bit longer to put out. Luckily it didn't spread to any other vehicles.
"The fire looked a bit dodgy so its being investigated." Firefighters left the scene at around 12.45am.
