The Mayor of Slough has been showing his appreciation for the town's most important amenities this week.
Cllr Amjad Abbasi has been posting on social media whilst he is out and about in the community, attending ceremonies and visiting charitable organisations.
The Mayor recently posted the following statement on Facebook:
"The worshipful the Mayor of Slough Cllr Amjad Abbasi is Attending AED Community Event at Banana Moon Nursery Stoke Poges"
Along with the caption he posted several photographs of himself attending the AED event.
A spokesperson for Banana Moon Nursery said "To celebrate and raise awareness about the newly installed Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in our nursery, we invited the South Central Ambulance Service, Councillor Mimi Harker, Vice Chairman of Bucks Council, and her Consort, Mr Robin Harker, Mayor Amjad Abbasi of Slough and PSCO Waring.
"Fran & Russell from the Ambulance Services gave us an in-depth and informative demonstration on how to use an AED in an emergency!"
