Tributes and well wishes have poured in after the search for a missing man was stood down following the tragic news of a body being found near an Essex Marina.
Louie, aged 30, went missing from Maidenhead on Friday, November 24 and was seen boarding a train out of the area.
Thames Valley Police released a series of appeals asking for the public's help in locating Louie.
However the search has since been stood down after Essex Police confirmed a body was found near Tollesbury Marina on Tuesday, November 28.
Louie’s family has been informed, but formal identification has not yet taken place.
Upon hearing the news dozens of members of the local community have paid tribute to Louie.
Simon Robinson took to Facebook to say: "God bless you Louie, no more worries or pain. You leave behind a wonderful caring family, who will never forget you."
Daniel Coomes added: "Such a lovely guy and had the pleasure of working with Louie for the last year. RIP Louie, you will be sadly missed. Thoughts are with your family and friends at this time."
Many have sent messages of support to his family amid the heartbreaking news shared by Thames Valley Police on social media.
"Just so so sad," added Sussan Kinsella. "Condolences to Louie’s family and friends. And thoughts with everyone who worked so hard to try to find him, and those who found him."
Argün Ismet Pire said: "It's heartbreaking. RIP Louie. Such a great personality and very good person. We worked together a few years back (Louie was taking telephone orders for delivery and takeaways for Kebab Elite). He was a very helpful person. It was great to know you my friend. My thoughts are with his family. It's hard to believe he's gone."
"This is heartbreaking to lose such a lovely kind person who I called my friend," added Heidi Goodwin. "Thoughts and love go to Louie’s family."
It is believed formal identification of the body will be carried out at Berkshire Coroners Court early next week. A date has yet to be confirmed.
