The long-awaited opening of Hobbycraft's Maidenhead branch is just a month away as the official opening date has been announced by the craft retailer.
Situated in Maidenhead Retail Park on Stafferton Way, the UK’s largest arts and crafts retailer has announced it will be opening a new store in April.
From Tuesday, April 18 the new Hobbycraft store will offer customers the retailers’ extensive range of crafting products from baking, home craft, papercraft, knitting, sewing, kids’ crafts and model making, to accessories for weddings, celebrations and much more.
On Saturday, April 22 at 9am, the store will officially launch with a grand opening event with product offers and exciting activities, including free goody bags to the first 100 customers.
Boasting an in-store art department with paper stands, wall art and product presentation, the store will showcase the collection of art products available.
The opening has created 20 new jobs in the local area.
Store Manager, Louise Kirton, said: “We are really looking forward to opening the doors to our Maidenhead store and sharing our passion for arts and crafts with the local community.
"Over the last few years, we have seen more people than ever take up crafting and we want to encourage locals to come down to the new store and share their crafting experience.
"We look forward to providing Maidenhead customers with the ultimate retail experience, combined with fantastic crafting products at great prices.”
The Maidenhead store will offer customers a range of experiences and dedicated craft spaces in store, including craft workshops, a custom crafting area and a haberdashery area.
Opening times for the new store will be Monday to Friday 9am to 8pm, Saturday 9am to 6pm and Sunday 10.30am to 4.30pm.
