TWO drug dealers will spend up to nine years behind bars after being found with drugs worth almost £30,000.

Warren Grice, 53 from Bath Road, Slough, was stopped by police on June 6, 2021 and searched.

Officers found two knives as well as cocaine and heroin estimated to be valued at £650 in his car.

They then searched Reuben Barnett’s property on Frimley Drive, where crack cocaine worth £25,500 was seized, as well as heroin worth £3,600.

The duo were charged with drug offences on June 7 following a Thames Valley Police investigation.

Appearing at Reading Crown Court on July 28, Grice was sentenced to three years and eight months in jail for two counts of possession of a blade and two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

Barnett, 42, was handed a five year and eight month sentence for two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

Inspector Peter Lawman, of the Slough Problem Solving Team, said: “We are really pleased with these sentences.

“This was a large operation involving the simultaneous execution of a number of warrants, as a result of which we recovered a substantial amount of illegal drugs.

“Grice and Barnett have now been sentenced and will have time to reflect on their actions.

“Drug dealing is not a victimless crime. It involves violence, intimidation and exploitation and Thames Valley Police will continue to target those responsible to bring them to justice.”
