Three more people have been arrested in connection with a murder investigation in Burnham.
A 30-year-old man from Slough has been arrested on suspicion of murder. Additionally, a 28-year-old man of no fixed abode and a 37-year-old woman from Burnham have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
It comes after a 35-year-old man died following reports of a fight involving a group of men in Wyndham Crescent at around 1.10pm on Sunday (June 20).
Officers and paramedics attended the scene and performed CPR on the man, but he was later sadly pronounced dead.
A 32-year-old man from Maidenhead and a 36-year-old man from Slough were also arrested on suspicion of murder yesterday (June 22) and remain in police custody.
Detective Superintendent Kevin Brown, head of the Thames Valley Police Major Crime Unit, said: “Our investigation into this incident is continuing, and we have now made a total of five arrests. We are continuing to appeal for information, so if you have any details you think could be relevant, please call us on 101, quoting reference number 43210270867.”
