Two people have been arrested in connection with a murder investigation in Burnham.
It comes after a 35-year-old man died following reports of a fight involving a group of men in Wyndham Crescent at around 1.10pm on Sunday (June 20).
Officers and paramedics attended the scene and performed CPR on the man, but he was later sadly pronounced dead.
A 32-year-old man from Maidenhead and a 36-year-old man from Slough were arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody.
Although formal identification has yet to take place, police said the man’s next of kin have been made aware and are being supported by specially trained officers.

Thames Valley Police’s Head of Major Crime, Detective Superintendent Kevin Brown, said: “Our thoughts are and remain with the family and friends of the man who has died as a result of this incident.
“Our focussed investigations continue and we are making progress. We have now made two arrests in connection with this incident and our enquiries are ongoing.
“I am renewing an appeal to anybody who has any information that can assist this investigation to please get in touch with police.
“The incident occurred early in the afternoon on Sunday, and I am confident that there will be people who have information who, for whatever reason, have not yet got in touch with police.”

DS Brown added: “Incidents such as this cause a great deal of concern in the local community, but I would reassure people that we do not believe that there is any wider threat to the public.
“There will be a continued increased police presence in the area while our investigation continues, and so please do not hesitate to speak to any of our officers with any questions or concerns that you may have.”
