The number of cases of the Indian variant of Covid-19 in Slough can be revealed.
Surge testing took place in parts of the town last week following a steep increase in the number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in recent weeks.

Across England, there were 70,856 cases of the Indian variant recorded up to June 16, the latest available data.
This is up from 10,797 on June 3.

In Slough, there had been a total of 315 cases of the Indian variant as of June 16.
This is up from 43 on June 3.
Elsewhere, neighbouring Windsor and Maidenhead have seen case numbers increase from nine on June 3 to 78 on June 16.
