MULTIPLE cars were burnt in a fire that resulted from a faulty engine.
Firefighters from Slough and Langley fire stations were called out to a number of burning cars in the car park of Asda, Telford Drive, Cippenham.
The fire began at approximately 12.30 today (Saturday), when a car parked up outside the Asda caught alight, due to a mechanical fault that caused the engine to overheat. The fire quickly spread to three other vehicles that were parked next to it.
Two fire engines attended the scene. Firefighters used hose reels and breathing apparatus to extinguish the flames.
The firefighters were on the scene for about 2 hours.
